A shocking video posted on Facebook has captured the moment an angry driver mowed down two men in a road rage incident.
The video by Facebook user Patu Kamonchanok was taken by her mobile phone from another car on Phaholyothin Road in Bangkok.
It is captioned: “I don’t know what are the reasons behind this. The traffic was really bad. Then the motorcycle tried to cut in front of the red car. The car honked at them. I couldn’t capture what happened before. Don’t judge who’s right or wrong yet.”
The clip begins with a man in a motorcycle helmet gesturing angrily at the driver of a stationery red sedan, kicking at the driver door then smashing his side mirror.
One of the two women recording the video is heard saying: “Why is he being such a bully?”
As the motorcyclist storms off and gets back on his bike with his friend, the red car moves off and is seen to pick up speed, before ramming into the bike.
The two men are then seen being knocked to the ground as the women scream, then one of them shouts: “Get the license number! Point your camera at the license number! The driver hit them just like that!”
The motorcyclist’s friend is seen chasing after the car as it escapes into a side street. It is unknown if any police complaint has been made over the incident.
