As we age into the modern era where most every video game involves shooting many mens in a war setting, (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Titanfall, Crysis … the list goes on) we forget first-generation gaming’s legacy of large, mostly stationary pixels.
8-Bit Bangkok, a group dedicated to sharing vintage games, comics and all things geek, will host an Amiga night next month. For those youngin’s out there, Amiga was a type of PC that offered pretty dope graphics and sound at the time and spawned some of the early, classic PC games.
8-Bit is promising the likes of Worms, SimCity, Prince of Persia, Lemmings and more starting at 7pm on April 19 at Jam.
