Whether its to challenge your rivals’ Cookie Run scores or maintain Suvarnabhumi’s Instagram status, the crushing injustice of not having free Internet at Thai airports is being fixed.
Three months after announcing that Wi-Fi service would be available at all of their airports, Airports of Thailand has fired up the Internets at Suvarnabhumi, Don Muang, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket and Hat Yai airports.
The service is offered through True Corp., which secured a valuable, five-year deal with AoT. Not every inch of the airports are covered – AoT said that will be achieved in April.
Travellers can register online with their Thai ID or passport number to get a username and password to access to the 10Mbps free Wi-Fi service for two hours per day. The service is available in most airport public areas, and is marked by signs reading “AOT Free Wi-Fi by TrueMove H” signs.
