Ratchada gas station mafia fat cats adopted (PHOTOS)

Someone stepped up to adopt all six felines famous among locals for running the show at a Caltex gas station minimart on Ratchada Road after their human slave announced the station was going out of business and they’d be homeless.

Gas station owner Ratchata Kittisuwan said yesterday someone offered to be the cats’ new sugar-person after she sought help online and posted cute pictures to Facebook.

Ratchata, who shelters the stray kitties in the air-conditioned minimart, said she won’t be able to take care of them after the gas station is transferred to a new owner in September.

“I wouldn’t know if the new owner will do what I do [let the cats hang out in minimart],” Ratchata said. “But I hope every kind person out there feels sorry for stray animals and adopts them.”

While it is hard for Ratchata’s loyal customers to imagine her gas station without cats, they can now sleep peacefully because the kitties will soon be moved to a new home, Thai PBS reported.
