A famous plastic surgeon recently announced that he and his patient – model Nonthaporn “Yeah” Thirawattanasuk – are “in love”, and that after performing five operations on her, he loves her not for her physical beauty, but for her “economic” sense and compatibility.
It’s not quite “Weird Science”, but Dr. Nopparat Rattanawaraha, one of the top-ten most famous plastic surgeons in Thailand, has put Yeah – who works as a “pretty”, model, MC and now as an actress – under the knife on multiple occasions to build the perfect body, Thai Rath reported.
Yeah, who is known among her colleagues as “the Princess of Plastic Surgery” first met Nopparat when she went to see him as a patient. “We first met when I went to get a Botox injection while I was a senior at Silapakorn University. I didn’t feel anything when we first met, but only thought that his hair was messy and his shirt looked sloppy – I didn’t think he looked like a doctor at all,” Yeah said of her molder-cum-lover.
“It is our fate,” Nopparat added as the couple laughed, pointing out that they never thought such a coincidence would happen.
In the first three years of their relationship, Yeah was the recipient of a nose job and breast enhancement at the hands of her lover. “I had plastic surgery five times to build my confidence,” Yeah pointed out. “It’s in my genes to have small breasts, and the reason I had these operations is because of my job in the entertainment industry. My life has changed a lot since,” she added.
Yeah said that she has gained confidence and has earned more money in her career since being reshaped by Nopparat.
Nopparat is not at all bothered by the artificial aspects of Yeah’s body. “I personally almost cannot see the difference between them [enhanced and natural parts] on her body, because plastic surgery nowadays is more effective an natural-looking.
“Also, not to say that plastic surgery is not good, but being beautiful alone is not enough to make our love last. We are compatible, and I’d like to thank Yeah’s family for teaching her well. She’s good with money and not crazy about brand name products.
“She is a beautiful lady inside and out,” Nopparat said.
When asked if he was worried about other men flirting with his model girlfriend, Nopparat said, “At first I was worried about it, but because my girlfriend loves having only one boyfriend – and because she is happy with this – I trust her. Beauty is only one of the factors of love. The important factors are understanding each other, being compatible and sincere.”
Speaking to the misconception that plastic surgery can make anyone look however they want, Nopparat cautioned, “Many people misunderstand plastic surgery. The first thing about it is that it utilizes the assets and beauty already in yourself, and the surgeon will discuss this with the patient to make sure they understand concepts of beauty such as face proportions. Only surgeons know it well. It’s all abut the balance, such as how wide your forehead is or where your eyes are located.
“Yeah had only five operations because she already had some beauty in her body. So, I did her nose and her breasts, but not too big – they don’t need to be as big as Panward [actress Panward Hemmanee],” he said.
Commenting on their future together, Nopoparat said is happy where they are and that he wants to be close to family if they have children, adding that “If there is good reason to perform plastic surgery on my children, I would give them the best results to make it look natural, just like I did for their mother.”
Yeah added, “I don’t worry about my beauty and being single. I’m happy with one boy and I don’t need many men to flirt with me to make me feel good about myself. I have already been through that when I was younger, and it doesn’t make anything better. I can tell you frankly that my happiness today comes from having one boyfriend, and not to burden him with expenses but to grow together with him.”
