Organizers of an upcoming meditation workshop say that they can provide you with the mental material to rid your life of, well, any mental malady the average self-doubting worker bee may encounter in daily life.
Business executive-cum-master of the mind Tony U-Thasoonthorn will be imparting his techniques on the city’s stressed and afflicted on September 22 at the Imperial Queens Park Hotel as part of his International Meditation Club’s “Eradicating Mental Pollution Problems via Mental Detoxification Practice (MDP)”.
Tony, who is said to have “spent a great deal of time with forest monks in the jungles and caves in Burma and Thailand” was also an entrepreneur and businessman working in international finance at large fortune 500 companies in the United States, his biography read.
He has since been ordained as a Buddhist monk and offers his workshops at international corporations, clubs and various other events where he uses MDP techniques to help participants eradicate stress, tension, anxiety, worry, fear, anger, insomnia and depression, the club said.
The program, organized by Networking for Success, is free of charge and set to start at 11am and wrap up at 3pm, with lunch (20 per cent discount for participants) as part of the schedule.
