Everyday, Thai beauty gurus share their tips on how to achieve certain looks with YouTube users via tutorial videos. The latest, perhaps most popular, producer of these videos is Nattanan Sananrat – a five-year-old kindergarten girl.
Nattanan, or Prae, titled her online program “Nong Prae Pa Plearn,” in reference to the program “Momay Pa Plearn” produced by famous online makeup tutor Napassorn Buranasiri. Uploaded on Prae’s mother’s YouTube channel – Natcha Sunanrat – the kindergarten’s face-powdering techniques have recently grown in popularity with several of her video clips racking up more than 100-thousand views.
“I have to apply a lot of makeup today since I’m going to a birthday party,” said Prae during one of her tutorials.
YouTube commenters are both delighted and worried. Some said that their hearts melt when they see the cute and innocent Prae trying to blush her cheeks. On the other hand, netizens are equally concerned that Prae’s sensitive skin could be susceptible to a cosmetics allergy.
