Famous son dropped off at drunk tank

A Bangkok taxi dropped off the near-comatose son of two famous Thai pop singers at a police station recently because the young man was too drunk to communicate where his house was located.

Model/actor (a slashie!) Nawapol “Guy” Lampoon, the son of Marsha Wattanapanich and Amphol Lumpoon, realized he was too inebriated to drive at a fancy party in the Nawamin area so he took a taxi home, Khaosod reported.

But Pol. Capt. Suthipong Kumnon at the Nonthaburi Police Station received a call from the taxi driver at around 6:30AM saying that he had a very drunk passenger sleeping in the back of the cab and unable to communicate. The taxi driver decided to take Guy to the station because he couldn’t wake the passed out partygoer.

Police at the Nonthaburi station took custody of the 24-year-old man and let him dry out in a cell until 11:30AM.

When Guy awoke he told police that he was the song of pop stars Marsha and Amphol and that he had been attending his own leaving party for school in the Netherlands, when he decided to take a taxi home because he was too drunk. That was the last thing he remembered until being awoken by police at the station.
