Two crocodiles in Phitsanulok have found a new way to escape Thailand’s astounding heat: Stay in their owner’s air-conditioned office.
Awirut Nathip has employed two crocodiles, named Ngen and Thong, to guard his house for the past five years. This summer, he has had to keep his moody pets cooled off at all times in order to make sure that they will not grow frustrated and attack someone.
Awirut sprinkles them with water at least 10 times during the day and allows them to sleep in his chilled office at night. According to Dailynews, the temperature at Phitsanulok can rise up to 40 degrees Celsius at noon.
