Police took a 24-year-old Narathiwat man into custody yesterday for his alleged connection with the May 26 bombing on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 43 that injured seven people.
The arrest was made in the southern province’s Muang District. Idris Satapor admitted to police that he and three accomplices staged the bombing so as to disturb the peace before fleeing down to Narathiwat.
Police believed that the bombing had no connection with the insurgency in the Deep South. They are on the hunt for the other three accomplices, Dailynews reported.
