A safety examination by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Public Works Department and its consulting firms on Rama 8 bridge means the bridge will be closed from 11pm on Sept. 21 to 5am the next day.
The six-hour closure will force motorists to look for alternative routes.
The safety inspection will evaluate the durability of the bridge’s structures and cables, reported the Bangkok Post.
