Put the buckets away, plenty of rain coming to keep everyone soaked

Don’t take that umbrella out of your bag just yet. Monsoons rolling in from the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea will unload more rain onto Bangkok and elsewhere for the next few days.

Clouds will continue to turn Bangkok’s skies grey, and scattered rain is expected in 80 percent of the capital area while temperatures may fall to 24-to-25 C, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.

Meanwhile, those living north and northeast of the capital should watch out for heavy rain through to next week due to a pending depression in South China Sea.
