Promotional model saved by inflatable mattress after jumping 16 floors (VIDEO)

A suicidal woman was saved from certain death after she jumped from the 16th floor of a Bangkok condominium and landed on an inflatable mattress set up by rescue workers below.

The 28-year-old promotional model jumped from the window of Lumpini Ville condominium on Sukhumvit Soi 77.

The woman’s mother said she came home to find her daughter lying on the bed with their possessions scattered all over the apartment. They had an argument and her daughter tried to bite her mother’s face and arm and said she wasn’t her mother.

The model then climbed onto the window ledge of the condominium, forcing her mother to call the police, reported the Bangkok Post and Thairath.

After sitting on the window ledge for two hours, the woman jumped 16-storeys onto the inflatable mattress below.

She only suffered minor bruising.

According to the mother, her daughter took diet pills and began to develop a mental problem five years ago. She was treated for mental illness for two months after she tried to commit suicide once before.

The woman was also stressed after recently leaving her job at an entertainment complex on Sukhumvit road.

This is the footage released by JS100 of the woman jumping 16 floors onto the inflatable mattress below.
