Prime Minister to cast reality TV for beautiful, smart women

In an effort to improve Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s waning public appeal she will launch a reality TV show. With the aim of attracting women who have sex appeal and brains, contestants will compete for a THB1 million prize and an overseas trip with Yingluck or her executives.

A government house source said The Thai Women Empowerment Fund is producing the show, now being called “Smart Lady Thailand.”

Listen up smart and beautiful women, you have until September 13th to join the fund and be pooled into casting for the reality show. Only 12 women will make the final cut and get a chance to compete and live together. The cast will be filmed 24-hours a day. Daily film will stream constantly to TrueVisions while edited reel will air on Modernine TV.

Naturally, viewer participation will be required. As the cast face challenges viewers will have a chance to vote for the prettiest and most tenacious contestant weekly, as reported by The Nation.
