The blooming season for the pink trumpet trees has arrived, and Chatuchak Park is currently decked out in shades of pink.
Bangkokians are flocking to snap photos of the pink trumpet trees, which are in full bloom throughout April and can be seen from BTS Mochit station and Phahonyothin Road.
Some people say Bangkok’s trumpet trees are just as pretty as Japan’s cherry blossoms. Many say the sight of the pink flowers remind them of Ueno Park, a popular tourist attraction to view sakura in Tokyo.
Radio channel JS100 recently released these photos taken from the BTS station. Suddenly, Bangkok has a romantic feel, despite the dry weather and pollution.
