While Bangkok hasn’t had a heavy rainstorm or flood since last week’s exciting downpour, the northeastern province of Sakon Nakhon was hit hard this morning by a powerful storm that caused significant property damage.
At least nine cars were destroyed by falling trees at the provincial government complex and an event venue, and power was knocked out for the entire city for 30 minutes by this morning’s storm.
Officials have reportedly sent crews to deal with the tree situation.
