Cops in Bangkok raided a party and sex venue yesterday where they arrested dozens of revelers, most of whom were allegedly using drugs.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Wang Thong Lang police descended on Faros near downtown in Soi Ramkhamhaeng 21, where they said more than 50 people men drinking booze, singing karaoke, having sex and using drugs such as meth.

According station chief Col. Ekkapop Tanprayoonthey were tipped off by “good Samaritans” that the three-story building was a party hangout for a primarily gay clientele having a little too much fun.

Used condoms were found on the top floor, which had been divided into 30 private sex rooms, Ekkapop said.

The cops pee-tested everyone there and said that 37 came back positive for drug use.

Everyone present, including 63-year-old owner Jinna Kritjinda, was charged with violating the emergency decree and disease control act.

Bangkok has imposed forced shutdowns of a range of businesses including bars and brothels due to an unremitting third-wave coronavirus outbreak. Drinking alcohol on-site and gatherings of more than 20 people are prohibited.

Health officials announced another 2,713 infections and 30 fatalities this morning.
