A former security guard has been arrested and accused of murdering a 4-year-old girl.
After being detained with other suspects, Chatree Seedee, 27, confessed Sunday that he tried to rape the girl before choking her to death at a Thonburi apartment building and throwing her body into a sewage line, police said.
Footage from security cameras showed Chatree with the girl at the building in the Bukkhalo neighborhood. An investigator said Chartee was drunk at the time of the crime killed the girl after she resisted him and called for help.
The girl’s father had reported her missing Wednesday, and the bag with her body was found Saturday. Four other men detained for questioning were released without charge.
