As police raided a Bangkok club in the wee hours this morning, detaining 92 partygoers who tested positive for drugs, a 3-year-old toddler was sleeping in a truck outside where it’s club-going parents had left it unattended.

At about 1:30am, Nong Khang Phlu police and officers from the Narcotics Control Board raided 400 cc., a nightclub located in the capital’s Nong Khaem District, after receiving a tip about underaged partiers at the establishment.

Officials turned on the lights and stopped the music upon their arrival, abruptly stopping the party for the roughly 258 customers, reported Khaosod.

There were reportedly 40 customers under 20 years old, Thailand’s legal drinking age, of which 26 tested positive for drugs after giving urine samples.

Sixty-six others also tested positive.

Police confiscated 12 pills of yaba (methamphetamine tablets cut with caffeine), five ecstasy pills, 13 packets of powdered crystal meth and ketamine, five Tramadol pills (pain medications) and six wrapped THB20 (about 65 cents) notes with ketamine inside.

It was quite a party.

All partygoers who tested positive for drugs or were underaged were detained.

Most shocking for police, however, was the discovery of a 3-year-old sleeping in an air-conditioned Isuzu truck with a cracked window outside the club.

The little girl’s parents were identified as a 30-year-old couple that was partying inside. They told police that they took turns coming out to check on their daughter every 15 minutes. Wow.

The pair also tested positive for drugs. Double wow.

The daughter was brought to the police station while her parents were being processed.

Pol. Col. Noppadon Kanchanaphan, director of Nong Khang Phlu police station explained that the club has been operating without a license for about a year now. Though they’ve tried to raid the establishment many times, the club owner had always been tipped off previously.

Police plan to issue an arrest warrant for 40-year-old club owner Nanthaphon Haroomwisai soon, he said. She is currently facing charges for operating without permission and during prohibited hours, encouraging underaged drinking and negligence which allowed mass drug use in her establishment.

As of press time, 400 cc. has been ordered to close.
