Police: Nui a hedonistic serial killer with a ‘wild imagination’

He never forced the children to go with them. Instead, he would offer to buy them snacks if they just followed him. Somehow he thought their consent would protect him from police.

“Nui,” the 32-year-old believed responsible for the rape and murder of many children, is a “hedonistic serial killer,’ according to police investigators who laid out several conclusions about him yesterday.

Arrested last month for the rape and murder of Cartoon, a 6-year-old girl in Bangkok, Nui prefers to stay in isolation at the Bangkok Special Prison, police said.

He has a “wild imagination,” according to investigator Police Maj. Gen. Supisal Pakdeenaruenart, and didn’t receive affection as a child.

Nui, said to have only targeted children, has said he started abuse them at age 15 after years of himself being a victim.

Police are continuing to investigate other possible victims of Nui, after a number of confessions that he made after being arrested turned out to be true, Bangkok Post reported.
