Authorities are searching a taxi driver who hit a police officer and escaped last night in Bang Rak district.
Police Lt. Pratet Chorlamjiak, an investigating officer at the Bang Rak police department, was rescued after he was hit and left lying unconscious in the road.
According to witnesses, he was riding a motorbike and got hit by a taxi at a U-turn break in the divider on Surawong Road.
The police will track down the driver from his license plate, Kapook reported.
