Police to go after cars parked in front of malls

Taxis, tuk tuks and other vehicles stopped illegally along Mall Street in Bangkok will face a reckoning, police vow.

Starting today poilce will have zero-tolerance for roadblockers who stop along the road in front of malls such as CentralWorld and MBK Center, police Lt. Gen. Rueangsak Jarit-Ake of the Royal Thai Police said.

Rueangsak promised strict enforcement of parking law in the area and said police will re-assess the situation in two weeks, Khaosod reported.

We expect the situation to be marginally better … for about two weeks.
