Police have arrested three Burmese workers on suspicion of murdering a Burmese woman on Koh Samui.
The victim’s half-naked body was found on a rocky beach in Bo Put district by a foreign tourist on the morning of Feb. 23. Police later identified the deceased as 22-year-old Sor Ngae Ngae, reported Khaosod.
The three Burmese suspects, two women and a man, allegedly confessed they carried out the murder because one of the female suspects, Saw Nay Way, was angry at Ngae for flirting with her brother.
Saw reportedly paid the other two suspects THB30,000 to help her with the murder, police said.
The three suspects have been charged with premeditated murder, which carries the death sentence.
