Police arrest man who shot vendor in Pattaya for not providing more sauce

This Saturday, police arrested Watcharawong Leelasirinuwong, 26, for attempted murder. Watcharawong allegedly fired a gun at a chicken with rice vendor in Pattaya, who refused to provide him with more sauce.

As reported by Coconuts, Sakphadung Benjakul, owner of Boss Chicken Rice, filed a complaint with police following the shooting at his restaurant on Theppasit Road. Sakphadung was slightly injured in the incident.

Watcharawong, who admitted to the shooting, reportedly escaped to stay at a resort in Chanthaburi. Police found a 9mm pistol, the weapon used in the shooting, in Watcharawong’s possession.

According to Dailynews, Watcharawong will face charges of attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm and carrying of a firearm in a public place.
