Police arrest 11 for rash of automotive thefts

Bangkok Metropolitan Police have arrested 11 youths for committing a rash of automotive thefts.

The suspects stand accused of smashing multiple cars’ windows, then reaching inside the automobiles to steal the goodies within.

A hunt for the gang was embarked upon after one man claimed that THB600,000 worth of gold was stolen from his parked car.

The Bangkok Post reports that after tracking down the gang at its Lat Krabang hideout, police found tablet computers, cell phones and motorcycles in the group’s possession.
