The spokesman of PM Prayuth Chan-ocha said journalists should not catch Pokémons while working at the Government House. This was announced after they published stories about the Poké Stops at the PM’s office on local media.
Spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnert said he had instructed the officers at the Government House to ask journalists for cooperation in not catching Pokémons there, adding that people should not play Pokémon Go at all in government offices.
Sansern said the reporters were informed of the security measures at the Government House, and he believed they understood the reason, reported Thairath.
“The prime minister said that, although Thailand has no law to control this kind of game, we’ve requested a related organization to study the guidelines of other countries,” he said.
Yesterday, the National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission said it wanted to restrict zoning of where Pokémon Go would be available after people left complaints that players go out of their way to catch Pokémon at hospitals, in traffic, and in government offices.
