Yesterday, a pig in musth killed a 71-year-old man in Surin’s Muang district.
Police found the body of Somsak Plaibua in the kitchen of his house. Upon discovery, the body bore evidence of many bites and bruises, and was covered in mud.
A witness informed police that a two-year-old pig was responsible for the man’s injuries. The pig had made a b-line for Somsak after escaping from its fenced enclosure. The witness reported that Somsak was killed instantly.
Somsak’s body will be sent to a hospital for an autopsy. Police will summon the owner of the pig for interrogation, INN reported.
