A pier will be built on the busy Khlong Saen Saeb near Airport Rail Link Ramkhamhaeng.
The pier, announced today by the Ministry of Transport, will be added between the Klong Tan and The Mall Ramkhamhaeng piers about 200 meters from the station.
A naming competition will be held to determine what to call it, according to state media.
Building the pier will require cooperation between the Airport Rail Link, Marine Department, State Railway of Thailand, Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning and Bangkok Mass Transit Authority. They said they plan to open it in the middle of next month.
