From pariah to paragon, Sri Burapha’s life interpreted for the stage at BACC

In the 1950s, novelist, human rights champion and newspaper editor Sri Burapha went into exile in China, where he died in 1974. Forty years later, Thailand’s equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize is named after him.

The musical will feature showtunes from the 1940s and ‘50s.

Tickets are THB600 and can be reserved at 092-257-0667.

The first performances are at 7pm on Aug. 28 and 29. Two shows will run at 4pm and 7pm on Aug. 30, with a 4pm matinee on Aug. 31.
