The parents of a missing British woman have launched a search after receiving a “frightened” phone call from her.
Grace Taylor, 21, from Dorset, went missing from her hotel in Pattaya on Feb. 16, but contacted her parents yesterday from Ao Nang in Krabi, sounding “very stressed and frightened.”
Her mother Sam said Grace told her “people were trying to hurt her and were following her and she wanted to come home.”
Her parents booked her a flight home from Krabi but Grace didn’t catch her flight.
“We are desperately worried, all previous backpacker sightings have reported that she is disorientated and not in a good mental state,” Sam wrote in a Facebook post.
A family member was due to fly out to Thailand to search for Grace, Sam said.
Dorset police told Western Daily Press it was liaising with Thai authorities and Interpol to find Grace.
