Giant Panda Xuang Xuang celebrated his 15th birthday this morning with a bamboo and carrot cake.

The celebrity panda unwrapped presents and dined on his favorite fruits as locals gathered at his party at Chiang Mai Zoo this morning.
The wrapped boxes contained more fruits: his favorite apples and carrots, according to Khaosod English.
Xuang Xuang and his sweetheart Lin Hui were sent from China in 2000 as a goodwill gesture between the two nations. Their stay was extended in June until 2023.
Xuang Xuang is also expected to be a panda baby daddy this year as Lin Hui is believed to be pregnant after a successful insemination last month.
If all goes to plan, panda lovers can expect a baby between August to October.
