Paintbox: 20 artists featured in two-month, two-parter to open tomorrow

Some of Japan’s finest graphic artists, a Thai painter and French photographer will be featured in a group exhibition of 13 artists opening tomorrow.

“Paintbox Vol. 1,” the first of two scheduled exhibitions, opens at 8pm Friday at Goja Gallery Cafe.

Work from Tadaomi Shibuya, Alex Face, Sadam Yoshizawa, Hiroya Asari, Ben Lorph, TRK and Miyuki Okada will be shown.

As a tasty bonus, some cuisine of the rising sun will be on hand from Kinjo Okinawa Restaurant.

The exhibition concludes March 2, with another seven artists to be featured in “Paintbox Vol.2” starting March 8.
