A Nonthaburi woman made good on her promise to reward her beloved chubby cat’s savior with a handsome THB300,000 (US$8,900).
Piya Phunsanthia late this afternoon showed off the fat bundles of cash cash he was given for finding missing Scottish Fold name Manee, and noted his personal link to the obese feline.
“My mother’s name is Manee, and the missing cat’s name is also Manee,” Piya wrote in a post along with a photo of himself holding three stacks of THB1,000 banknotes.
Piya said he would donate some of the money to a good cause.
“Believe me, people who do good things will get rewarded with good things,” he wrote.
The chubby catto was last seen Tuesday leaving a house in the Noble Tara village in Nonthaburi province. That led her human companion Mimi to put up a hefty THB300,000 bounty for her return.
Manee was found last night by Piya, who is a security guard at the Noble Tara village. Mimi had initially seemed cool on paying the bounty after Piya spotted the cat slinking back toward home.
