Owner finds M16 in his abandoned home

The owner of a house in Ratchada was surprised when someone randomly put bullets in his storage.

Paholyothin authorities inspected a home in Ratchada soi 32 yesterday after receiving a call from the house owner that the place had been burglarized and ransacked.

Kiattipong Suparbwai, 46, says he is the owner of the residence, but nobody has lived there for a long time.

Besides gold and cash worth of THB200,000 stolen from his home, the police found 140 M16 bullets and two grenades hidden in the storage on the first floor.

The authorities have filed a report and will send the weapons to Explosive Ordnance Disposal officers for further investigation, Sanook reported.
