Over 50 wild boars found living in Saphan Sung

Residents of the Saphan Sung district are asking for help from authorities to save more than 50 wild boars from slaughter.

According to residents of the Acadia Parkville village on Rat Phattana Road, the herd of wild pigs is living inside a three-rai, overgrown lot adjacent to the Bung Kum district office. They frequently come to the main road for food, which is offered by local residents.

Reports have surfaced of groups of people attempting to capture and kill the animals, claiming to be local authorities. Residents are afraid that these pigs, which grew up in the wild, might not be safe enough to eat, Dailynews reports.
