All of the ATMS belonging to one of Thailand’s largest banks will be going dark for six hours one week from Saturday.
On the night of Nov. 9, Siam Commercial Bank will temporarily close their ATM service nationwide for system upgrades from 11pm until 5am the following morning.
So cash-up early in the night. Otherwise, you may be forced to walk another three paces to a competitor’s money machine.
For those SCB customers who regularly spend their Saturday nights doing banking, the following services will be unavailable:
1.SCB ATM/ Debit/ Speedy/ MCMC Prompt cards will be unusable in all SCB channels and all other bank ATM machines.
2. SCB credit card cash advance will be unusable in all SCB channels and all other bank ATM machines.
3. Easy Net bank-to-bank fund transfer will be unavailable.
