Oral Apology: Foreign couple says sorry for viral clip of oral sex on Phi Phi

An American woman and Irish man were filmed performing oral sex in the doorway of a guesthouse on Koh Phi Phi’s Walking Street last week in a clip that went viral.

Due to the public uproar that ensued, the couple were wanted by police in three provinces for being caught on camera engaging in public oral sex. They turned themselves in, issued a public apology and each were fined THB2,000

At 11am on Sunday, Krabi Police held a press conference, presenting the two suspects, named Nadine, 21, from the U.S., and Sullivan, 24, from Ireland.

Police in Krabi, Surat Thani and Chiang Mai were reportedly working together to track down the two foreigners, who had been featured in a video clip that had been uploaded to Youtube by an “enraged resident,” who had reported that the incident took place at 7:30pm last Monday on Koh Phi Phi.

Upon learning that they were wanted by police, the American woman and Irish man – both said to be exchange students at an unnamed university in Chiang Mai – immediately returned to Krabi to turn themselves in and answer to charges of indecent exposure, and committing an indecent act in public.

The woman had already returned to Chiang Mai while the man had been traveling in Surat Thani when news broke that they were wanted oral sex fugitives.

The two explained that they were intoxicated at the time of the incident, and after apologizing for the deed, and doing a wai for the cameras, each were fined and released.
