The Rak Thailand Party leader and party-list MP, Chuwit Kamolvisit took a plunge into the sea off Koh Samet’s Phrao Bay yesterday in order to prove that the water there was back to “swimmable” condition following the PTT oil spill.
The outgoing politician posted a video on his Facebook public page last night. After the dip, Chuwit stated that he could not find any oil residue. Koh Samet should remain a top choice for weekend getaways, he said.
Chuwit lauded the cleanup operation jointly conducted by PTT and the Navy, saying they were able to remove the oil quickly.
