This morning, an 18-wheeler hauling a tank of 20,000 liters of diesel flipped on the outbound lanes of Phaholyothin Road, connected to the elevated Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road, in Pathum Thani’s Thanyaburi district. The accident and resultant spill blocked traffic and left motorists fearing an explosion.
Upon their arrival at the scene, authorities called Good Team Enterprise, the company that owns the truck, to drain the spill and remove the vehicle. An officer from Good Team Enterprise told police that the truck was transporting oil from Chong Nonsi in the Yannawa district to Saraburi Province.
According to Dailynews, the truck’s driver ran away after the accident and has not been seen since.
