Pending a disciplinary probe into the assistant-teacher exam cheating scandal, Office of the Basic Education Commission (Obec) deputy chief Anand Rangabthuk, along with three other officials, has been transferred.
Anand has been named the Education Ministry inspector-general. Education inspector-general Phitsanu Tulsuk, who is also the head of the fact-finding committee for the scandal, now holds Anand’s former position. The Nation reports that the Cabinet approved the transfer of the three C-10 officials, including Anand, last Tuesday.
