More Thai banks have set up call centers to help customers who have been scammed.
Today, those who fear their bank account was siphoned by scammers call up to complain or plead for assistance from eight major banks now that CIMB Thai, Government Savings, and TMB Thanachart banks have added the service.
In addition to the fight against scams, the Government Savings Bank has announced it would no longer send SMS messages to customers with URLs. The bank said customers who do receive links should assume those messages are fake.
