No, Trump isn’t going to let Asians into the US without visa

The U.S. Embassy in Thailand shut down the rumor that the freshly inaugurated POTUS would spare citizens of Asian countries from visa applications.

The official Facebook page of the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok posted a short announcement about the fake news. It dismissed a rumor that Donald Trump was going to allow Asian nationals to enter the States without a visa.

Reports that President Trump ordered that visas will no longer be required for all Asian nationals traveling to the United States are false.”

The Embassy added links to the White House’s official website for information about Trump’s policies in action and the Department of State’s website for visa requirements.

Anyone who paid attention to the 45th president’s campaign would have been suspicious. Trump recently ordered a visa ban for anyone from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, according to Reuters.

Sorry, Thais, but you will still have to show America your family fortune just to pop by New York for a week.
