Nikki Beach Phuket remains silent over closure

The management of the popular Nikki Beach Phuket has yet to reveal the reasons behind the sudden closure of the local outlet of the international beach club franchise at Bangtao, on Phuket’s west coast.

The club posted a notice on its Facebook page on Saturday, stating: “To our Nikki Beach Friends and Family, we want to let you know that our Phuket location is currently closed. Please join us for love, peace and the celebration of life at our other location in Koh Samui, or any of our other ten locations around the world.”

In addition to the Phuket and Koh Samui venues, Nikki Beach operates clubs in several cities such as Miami, Bali, Ibiza and Saint-Tropez.

The only reply received to date by the Phuket News on why the club has closed was a message sent by Marketing Manager Alena Nikolaeva: “Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Nikki Beach is currently closed. We are doing everything to resolve these matters. Please refer to Nikki Beach FB page for an official statements.”

Nikki Beach Club made headlines in March when Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand shared photos of a baby elephant being forced to walk across a wooden bridge over a pool of drunk fools.

The foundation also shared photos featuring Twilight star Kellan Lutz, who celebrated his 29th birthday at Nikki Beach Phuket, and a bikini-clad chick riding a baby elephant at his party in 2014.

In case you care, Kellen played Emmett Cullen, the buff, stupid son of the Cullen vampire family who doesn’t have any supernatural talents but he can lift heavy objects. Emmett hooked up with vampire girl Rosalie who is his adopted sister.
