The Skytrain were delayed this afternoon when a woman lost consciousness and fell onto the train tracks at Siam BTS station.
The woman pitched forward onto the tracks and her husband jumped down to rescue her before BTS staff quickly stepped in, asked the husband to get back on the platform for his own safety, and brought her to safety on the platform.
Witnesses said that the woman’s face was “bleeding” and that she looked very weak, however she did not appear to be seriously injured.
Her husband told a reporter that he would take her to Chulalongkorn Hospital to seek medical attention.
Trains were delayed for about 10 minutes due to the incident, which occurred around 2:30pm.
