Woman arrested for conspiring to murder her son-in-law

Yesterday, police at Provincial Police Region 1 Office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road announced the arrest of 59-year-old Yai Sirislung and four other men. The conspirators were charged with planning to murder 48-year-old Chamrong Aonnom – Yai’s son-in-law.

Chamrong was kidnapped and shot dead in Saraburi on Jan. 12. Police subsequently busted 48-year-old Nikorn Pansup, one of five assassins, for his involvement in Chamrong’s death. Nikorn gave police a tip that Yai late last year had intended to hire a gunman to kill Chamrong in exchange of THB150,000.

According to Thairath, Yai believed Chamrong was behind the death of Sompong Aonnom, his wife and Yai’s daughter, three years ago.
