The Commerce and Accountancy Faculty at Chulalongkorn University reported yesterday that Thongma Vijitpongpun is the richest man on the Thai stock market.
Thongma is the chairman and president of Pruksa Real Estate and, according to the Bangkok Post, has now enjoyed three years atop the list of the richest men on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
Second was Keeree Kanchanapas, chairman of BTS Group Holdings as well as a significant investor in Bangkok Land Plc, and third was Anant Asavabhokin, chairman and president of Land and House Plc.
The first non-property based fortune on the list came in the form of Dr Prasert Prasarttongosot, whose Dusit Medical Services Plc snagged him the list’s fourth slot.
