Water lowering at Lat Phrao intersection

Water levels in some parts of northern Bangkok are receding as runoff flows out to the Gulf of Thailand.

Water levels at Lat Phrao intersection have dropped enough to allow cars to pass, according to TANN, and traffic has also resumed on Rama II Road. For an idea of the situation in Lat Phrao earlier, check out Coconuts Bangkok photos and video of Lat Phrao intersection from Nov. 5.

Outbound Vibhavadi Rangsit Road is still very flooded, but Phahanyothin Road from Lat Phrao intersection to Rathayothin intersection is getting drier.
Water on Krungthep Kritha Road has lowered to 15 to 20 centimers and is now passable for some vehicles, but flooding on Songprapa Road in front of Don Mueang Temple is still at 55 centimeters.

Water on Petchkasem Road from the Mall Bang Kae Shopping Center to Puttamonthon Sai 4 Road is still at 50 to 60 centimeters and small cars can’t pass.
