Yesterday, two women submitted a complaint to Phra Ratchawang police, asking for justice after a large crowd attacked them at Ban Moh Plaza in the Phra Nakhon District.
As Coconuts Bangkok reported yesterday, the incident was brought to the online community’s attention via a YouTube video clip.
Sunisa Saelim and Kanjana Saetiew, shopkeepers and clerks at an electronics store at the mall, along with an attorney, traveled to the station for interrogation. They said that prior to the mob attack, Sunisa had engaged in a brawl with the clerk of a CCTV camera shop. In the afternoon, they came to the shop and offered to make peace with the clerk.
According to the two women, during the negotiation, Saowalak Yodwong, owner of the CCTV camera shop, told her employees that if they could kill Sunisa, she would reward them with THB20,000. The brawl then ensued.
Phra Ratchawang police’s initial investigation revealed that there were 11 people engaged in the fight, but that the THB20,000 offer from Saowalak was not confirmed. Nation Channel reported that all 11 people would be called to the station for questioning.
