The US Embassy in Bangkok is hiring for its Foreign Student (Thai) Intern Program running April 23 to May 25.
One of the most interesting and sure to be coveted positions is a social media internship in the embassy’s Public Affairs Section.
The US Embassy has made robust usage of its Facebook and Twitter pages as part of its general outreach. US Ambassador Kristie Kenney is also well-known for her personal Twitter account, where she reports back from high level diplomatic meetings and chit chats with followers.
Other notable positions include the translation unit at the Public Affairs Section, disaster assistance at USAID, and the Transnational Crime Affairs Section.
Interested applicants must be full-time students at an accredited Thai university, have already completed two years of university studies, at least 18 years old, have a GPA of 2.8 or higher; and have a basic working knowledge of English.
