An underage girl in Pathum Thani notified police that she was gang-raped by three policemen, then fled to a taxi driver who also raped her and that she had been repeatedly raped by her father since the age of seven, Pattaya Daily News reported.
The girl, 15, went to police alongside an authority from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. She is a ninth grade student at a Pathum Thani school.
She told police that after joining a traffic volunteer program at Pratoo Chulalongkorn police station in Thanyaburi, the three policemen began giving her money and treating her to meals. She said that she trusted the men because they were police officers.
However, during a meal the officers allegedly convinced her to drink alcohol until she was drunk, and then offered to take her home. They instead took her to a motel and raped her, she said.
When she awoke, she realized the men were gone and fled the motel to a nearby taxi which she intended to take to alert police that she had been raped. The taxi driver then took her to another hotel and raped her, she said, adding that she did not know where the hotel was.
Police will question the girl’s father and will be looking for the other suspected rapists, PDN reported.
